Material Name – Names material and associated nodes.

Material Types – Enables Selected Renderers.

aiStandardSurface – Enables connections for Arnold and its standard surface material.

PxrSurface – Enables connections for RenderMan and its standard surface material.

PhongE – Enables connections for Maya’s Phong Electric material. Not disableable.

Attribute Selection – Enables Lobes.

Diffuse/Base – Enables diffuse surface qualities.

  • Gain – Selects the gain properties of diffuse/base lobe.
    • All on – Good for most surfaces
    • Color alpha – Good for metallic and complex surfaces
    • All off – Good for glass volumes
  • Color – Enables color channel input.

Specularity – Enables specular and metallic qualities.

  • Face Color – Enables face color channel input.
  • Edge Color – Enables edge color channel input.
  • Fresnel Angle – Enables Fresnel Angle channel input or slider input.
  • Roughness – Enables roughness channel input or slider input.
  • Anisotropy – Enables anisotropy channel input or slider input.

Clearcoat – Enables clearcoat and thin-coating qualities.

  • Face Color – Enables face color channel input.

Attribute File Path – File Path Selection

Default Path – Within your project, selects the default/base path to check for files.

Finalize – Complete Tool Use

Create – Generates material and closes window if no error is encountered.

Apple – Generates material and keeps settings in tack.

Close – Closes window if no error is encountered.

Create and Reopen – Generates material, closes window, and opens new window if no error is encountered.

Create and Clear Fields – Generates materials and depopulates file path fields.

Reset – Closes window and opens new window if no error is encountered.
